The Garden Army is a Community interest Company set up to support people of all ages who are living with health and wellbeing needs.

Based at the Chiddinglye Estate in West Hoathly, West Sussex we are supported by a group of volunteers drawn from the local community to help us create and maintain our vision. Which will ultimately be a beautiful therapeutic farm and kitchen garden for all.

The farm is predominantly being designed to support anyone who wants to get outside and experience nature to support their health.  We welcome anyone..

• Who needs to feel like they have a purpose.

• Who needs to be part of something.

• Who needs to get outside and meet others.

• Who needs to talk.

•  Who just needs somewhere to go and be who they are.

We know that we do not have all the answers and gardening does not solve everything. However fresh air, exercise, space and a purpose can go a long way to support your wellbeing.

We also run events, volunteering days and activities for school groups, community groups and companies who want to support their employees to volunteer.  People attending our events have the chance to spend the day completing projects to support the farms development, learn about regenerative farming, gain new skills, learn the importance of sustainable farming and generally get muddy!
